"Thirteen zeros — unhappy number" © What is time? There is no exact answer to this question. In philosophy, time is called an irreversible flow (flowing only in one direction - from the past, through the present to the future), within which all the processes that exist in being, which are facts, occur. People have always wanted to turn back time, invent a time machine and become immortal. This film speaks of the dream of all people – it is eternal to live.
In Time, we are told about people who are genetically programmed not to age after the age of 25. But you have to pay for it. Each person at the age of 25 begins to wear a special watch. People work for hours, but a lot is worth the time. So it's not as good as it looks.
The director and writer of the script was Andrew Niccol. His film represents a kind of dystopian world in which everything and everything depends on time. Before this film, Andrew had three films: Gattaka, Simone, and The Armoury Baron. As well as his previous works,
Time is shot according to his own script. In addition to these works
Andrew Niccol took part in the scripts of the films
The Truman Show and
The Terminal. With the film "Time" Niccoll coped perfectly, but, of course, there are some complaints about the script, but they are not so disturbing.
The main role was played by Justin Timberlake. He played a ghetto guy named Will Sallas. Justin did a good job with his role. We can safely say that he is not only able to sing. The main female role was performed by Amanda Seifred, who I know from the musical
Mamma MIA!. She played well, I liked it. Also remembered such actors as
Cillian Murphy,
Alex Pettifer,
Vincent Cartheiser. It is a pity that not much
Olivia Wilde.
Of course, I liked the film very much, maybe there are some shortcomings, but you should not pay attention to them. Throughout the film plays beautiful music and for this special thanks to the composer Craig Armstrong. After watching the movie, one phrase remains in my head: “The poor die, and the rich do not live.”
People, appreciate time, because we have so little.
